Dongle Short Serial Number

Note:

All interfaces shipped by Ross-Tech since the middle of 2004 have a "Short" serial number on the product label as shown in the picture below.   This serial number may start with "HC", "UC", or "KC".  However, some systems shipped by our European distributors lack this short serial number on the product label.  If your interface does not have a short serial number on the product label, contact the distributor whom you purchased the system from to obtain the short serial number of a certificate number.

Finding the Short Serial Number  from the label on your interface:

The Short Serial Number is shown below.  It may start with "HC", "UC", or "KC"

Submitting your Short Serial Number:

Go to the VCDS Dongle Registration Form and enter your Short Serial Number in the appropriate field. 
Fill out the remainder of the form and click the [Submit Info] button.
