Dongle Certificate Number:

Note:

You do not need a certificate number if your interface has a "Short" serial number on the product label.  You can register your VAG-COM Diagnostic System using the "Short" serial number from the product label and the "Long" serial number from the About screen.    However, if there's no serial number on the product label, you will need a certificate number.

Finding the Certificate Number:

Older systems shipped by Ross-Tech which did not have a serial number on the label of the interface were  shipped to distributors with a blue Software Registration Certificate. This certificate usually has a white sticker with a Certificate Number.

Some of our European distributors have also shipped systems with no serial number on the product label of the interface.  If there's no serial number on the label of your interface and you don't have a certificate number, please contact whomever you bought your system from for a certificate number.

Submitting your Certificate Number:

Go to the VCDS Dongle Registration Form and enter your certificate number in the appropriate field. Fill out the remainder of the form and click the [Submit Info] button.
