• The US Patent and Trademark Office has registered HEX-NET as a trademark of Ross-Tech, LLC (Reg. No. 4,534,094). 

13. February 2014:

• The HEX-NET is now available in limited quantities for purchase in our web store.
  This all new WiFi interface comes with with VCDS-Mobile, which works with most modern smart-phones and tablets without requiring the user to install any software on them.    It also works with VCDS ( Beta 14.2 or newer).

13. September 2013:

• VCDS Release 12.12 now available on our Download Page .
  This version includes support for 2013 and early 2014 model cars, including most MQB ("Mk.7" deriviative) cars.  

19. November 2012:

• VCDS-Lite  Release 1.2 is now available.   This improved version of our "Shareware" product for non-CAN cars contains a number of minor bug-fixes and improvements.  It can be download from this page.

• VCDS Release 11.11 is now available on our Download Page. This release includes everything we had in Beta versions 11.2, 11,3, 11.8 and 11.10.   It includes partial support for VW Crafter vans, many new and improved label files, and new UDS/ODX data to support the 2012 models.

• VCDS-Lite  Release 1.1 is now available.   This improved version for non-CAN cars covers certain newer engines and other systems than the previous version 1.0.  VCDS-Lite is available for download from this page.

25. November 2008

• The US Patent and Trademark Office has registered VCDS as a trademark of Ross-Tech, LLC (Reg. No. 3,537,609).  Ross-Tech will be using the trademark and the new logo in all communications about the VAG-COM Diagnostic System.

10. October 2008

• The KII-USB interface replaces our previous KEY-USB interface.   Pricing is unchanged, but some functionality previously only available in our professional interfaces has been added to the firmware for this product.  The KII-USB interface requires VCDS version 805.1 or newer.

29. May 2008:
