30. June 2010:

• VCDS Release 10.6 is now available on our Download Page.  This release includes everything we had in Beta 912 and Beta 10.3/10.4, plus new USB drivers, a new codes database (now over 14,000), many new and improved label files, and new UDS/ODX data to support the 2011 models which are now arriving at dealerships in Europe. As has been our custom for 10 years now, the update is free!

1. April  2010:

• VCDS-Lite  Release 1.0 is now available.   This new shareware version for non-CAN cars and "dumb" interfaces replaces the old VAG-COM versions 311 and 409, which are no longer supported.  VCDS-Lite is available for download from this page.

• VCDSx64  Beta 10.4 is now available.  This is a proof-of-concept 64-bit build of VCDS.  More details on  this page.

25. November 2008

• The US Patent and Trademark Office has registered VCDS as a trademark of Ross-Tech, LLC (Reg. No. 3,537,609).  Ross-Tech will be using the trademark and the new logo in all communications about the VAG-COM Diagnostic System.

10. October 2008

• The KII-USB interface replaces our previous KEY-USB interface.   Pricing is unchanged, but some functionality previously only available in our professional interfaces has been added to the firmware for this product.  The KII-USB interface requires VCDS version 805.1 or newer.

29. May 2008:

• VCDS  Release 805 is now available from our Download Page.
  With this version, VAG-COM has a new name -- VCDS.

• Ross-Tech has moved into larger offices at 881 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale PA.
